Welcome! I am a writer and proofreader at heart and a Reference Librarian at Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library in Presque Isle, Maine. I also currently serve as Secretary, Communications Committee Co-Chair, and Marketing Chair for the Maine Library Association. I am a certified USA passport application aceptance agent and a State of Maine Notary Public. In my past vocational lives I have worked in radio broadcast on air and as a copywriter, as a copyeditor and proofreader, and with the State of Maine Department of Labor Bureau of Employment Services with Wagner-Peyser, WIA and TAA services. I have two great children, 17 cats (living the Librarian stereotype! :D) and a dog. I am a Red Sox and Patriots fan, an avid reader - especially of Golden Age of Detective Fiction - speak a little French, Latin and Russian although I need to brush up on all three a great deal - and I enjoy crocheting, knitting, and am learning to tat.
